The Aichingerwirt is a traditional guesthouse and restaurant dating from 1854. It is 3 km from the town of Mondsee and 1.5 km from the shore of Lake Mondsee. As of April 2012 all rooms will be newly renovated. They all feature a balcony and satellite TV. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine. Guests can dine in the garden or in the light-flooded winter garden. There is a children’s playground and a miniature golf course. Surrounded by the fields of its own farm, the Aichingerwirt is an ideal starting point for cycling and mountain biking. Bicycle rental and service, as well as guided mountain bike tours, are available.
