The Almgasthof Fichtenheim is a child- and family-friendly holiday hotel on the Emberger Alm mountain pasture, located at 1,800 metres above sea level high above Carinthia’s Drau Valley. You have come to the right place for hiking, hang-gliding, paragliding, and mountain biking, but also if you just want to relax and unwind, or if you are an amateur astronomer. Our setting also provides ideal conditions for allergy-sufferers. We offer our guests a free shuttle service to and from various places, such as the train station at Greifenburg, the hang-gliding and paragliding landing strips, and several starting point for hikes. The Almgasthof also features a 120 m² sauna landscape.

You are already at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, and you can reach wonderful hiking destinations within a few hours, also with your children. You will receive hiking information, such as route descriptions, weather reports and weather maps, locally.
