| In Seefeld, tradition and modernity have never been contradictory. For decades now a balance between an idyllic Tyrolean village atmosphere and tourist infrastructure has been preserved to the content of locals and regular guests. Skiers will love the well-groomed pistes around the Rosshütte mountain hut and the Gschwandtkopf. Cross-country skiers are also very well catered for: a 262 kilometre-long network of cross-country tracks winds it way through the region, sometimes with up to four lanes next to each other. And for particularly ambitious skaters, 60 kilometres are prepared especially. And what else is there to get you going? Among other things, snow rafting, tobogganing, riding, ice skating and curling are possible. And in summer? Golfers' hearts beat faster at the sight of the 18-hole Seefeld-Wildmoos golf course, set in the middle of a nature reserve, while tennis players can practise their serves at the World Championship hall or in the club. Water lovers will enjoy the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, not to mention the Wildsee and Möserer See lakes. With all its huts and mountain pastures, Seefeld is a hiking paradise with 650 kilometres of hiking trails. Also climbers geht their foothold, Nordic Walkers their routes and mountain bikers their trails – all signposted of course. |
