Berghof Sturmgut enjoys a quiet location on a high plateau in Hinterstoder. It overlooks the surrounding mountains and offers traditionally furnished rooms with a balcony and free access to Wi-Fi. The onsite spa area includes a jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam bath. Guests can get active on the hiking trails surrounding the guest house. Hiking sticks and maps can be rented at the Sturmgut. A children’s games room and a playground are on site. A large trampoline, a small children’s pool and various toys are provided. A petting zoo can be found at the farm next door. Guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the guest house’s restaurant. A salad buffet, a choice of meat and vegetarian dishes, desserts and a cheese buffet are offered for dinner. Juices are free of charge for children during the entire day. During summer guests receive the free Aktiv Card. It comprises of many discounts and amenities. Berghof Sturmgut is set on the slopes in winter. Ski equipment can be rented on site and a ski storage room is at guests’ disposal.

Area Information

We are located next to a ski slope! The 45 kilometers of slopes at an altitude from 600 to 2000 m are facing south, the main run from the top to the base station being 7 km long. Thanks to our location on the north side of the Alps we are truly spoilt by snow.

In summer the area is a paradise for hikers and historic towns such as Linz, Wels and Steyr are waiting to be expored by you.
