Bischofhütten

Over 1500 metres high up in the Carinthian Mountains, this self-catering, log cabin-style guesthouse is about 10 km from Klippitztörl ski resort. It offers wooden interiors, home-grown farm produce and live farm animals. Each 5-bedroom chalet at the Bischofhütten includes a living room with satellite TV, a cosy fireplace, and private sauna. The walls feature fine wooden panelling. In the summer months, an active summer programme is organised, including fishing, horse riding, climbing and butter making. All chalets include a kitchen with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. Barbecue facilities can be enjoyed outside on the terrace. Farm produce, such as milk, salami, cider and schnapps, is available. The surrounding countryside is a vehicle-free zone, ideal for nature walks and cycling. Parking facilities are a 15-minute walk away and a luggage transport service is offered.
