Fischerwirt am Achensee

The "Fischerwirt", established in 1885 is a family run hotel. You can feel the old Tyrolean atmosphere when you enters the house - the traditional styled dining-room, the wine-room, the spaciouslake-side terrace etc. The Fischerwirt is situated at the north end of the lake, opposite the landing site for the Steamer. The bathing area with shower facilitis is opposite too, water sports, beach volleyball, pedal boats and the starting point for many mountain walks in the Karwendel are just minutes from the hotel door. In winter there is a 50km cross-counrty route within a few minutes walking distance as well as the bus stop for the free of charge ski bus. The largest skiing area in the region is the "Christlum" which is only 800 m away.
