Family-run for 4 generations, the traditional Gasthof Eberhard has been an inn for over 500 years. It is popular with business travellers, tourists and, because of its unique geographic situation, people passing through.

The romantic and quiet rooms are lovingly renovated in the original styles of the 1870s to the 1970s. Each room is as personal and individual as the entire house. The bathrooms feature handmade soap and shampoo.

The restaurant serves seasonal and regional specialities directly from the farm, wines from Styria and Burgenland, Styrian beer, and homemade apple juice.

Area Information

In the surrounding area there are many museums and expositions (Leoben, brewery at Göss, Stübing open-air museum), the Iron Road (show mine, museums, concerts) and many churches and monasteries (abbeys at Göss, Seckau and Admont).

Leisure activities include cycling (Mur Bike Trail), mountain biking, horseback riding, golf, diving in a mountain lake, climbing, hiking and mountaineering. Skiing and tobogganing are possible on the Präbichl pass.

Important Information

On Mondays and Fridays, the restaurant is opened in the evening only. Arrival is possible between 18:00 and 20:00. If you intend to arrive outside these times, please inform the hotel in advance about your approximate arrival time.
