Haus Josef

The Tyrolean-style Haus Josef is located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Mayrhofen. All rooms have a balcony with views of the surrounding Alpine landscape. Hiking trails start right outside. Breakfast is served in the lounge which features a tiled stove. Ski storage facilities are also available on site. Mayrhofen town centre and the local outdoor pool are both a 10-minute walk away. Restaurants, shops and cafes can be visited in town. The bus stop is just 200 metres from the property and provides connections to the Mayrhofen Ski Region, a 5-minute drive away. The Hintertux Glacier and the Gerlosstein sled run can both be reached by car in 30 minutes. Guests can buy the Zillertal Super Ski Pass which gives card-holders access to 7 ski areas, with more than 600 km of ski runs. The area is also a popular starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. Shuttle services can be arranged upon request.
