Surrounded by one of Austria's most densely wooded regions, this family-friendly sports and adventure hotel enjoys an idyllic location a little more than an hour's drive away from Vienna. Opened in June 2008 in Upper Styria, JUFA Gästehaus Veitsch is directly connected to an indoor pool (free admission for hotel guests). Here you will find a big water slide, a sauna and spa area with 4 saunas, a solarium and massages, and a baby pool, in addition to the big pool. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with all modern amenities. The rich breakfast buffet comprises many homemade and organic products and is included in the price. Lunch and dinner are served buffet-style. Salad buffets and food suitable for children are available every day. The hotel features a cosy café with wireless internet access, dining rooms, an internet café, seminar rooms, table tennis and billiard tables, a children's play room, a lockable bicycle shelter, a bicycle rental (also for BMX bikes, with helmet), and a children's playground. Additional leisure options include an indoor climbing wall, a brook for children to play in, a beach volleyball court, football and tennis courts, a BMX trail, and a fun court for inline skating. A nice sunbathing lawn is available for relaxation. There are many hiking and mountain bike trails, as well as riding stables, nearby. Ballooning, paragliding and carriage rides are also available. The pilgrimage route to Mariazell leads right past the JUFA Veitsch. The world's largest walk-in wooden cross can be seen from the hotel.
