Nestling between the Carnic Alps and the Dolomites, this small and pretty family-run hotel, the region’s only 4-star property, is located in the upper Gail Valley in the southwestern part of Carinthia. Landhof Lenzhofer offers cosy rooms and first-class spa facilities, including a Finnish sauna, a steam sauna, a solarium, massages, and beauty treatments. In summer a natural swimming pond is available. Enjoy a wide selection of Carinthian and international dishes made from organically grown ingredients from surrounding farms. Cooking classes are also organised. The hotel’s private, 2-km fishing stream is one of the most pristine stretches of the Gail River and is home to a high number of greylings and trout. Fly-fishing classes are organised on request. Landhof Lenzhofer is also an ideal starting point for hikers and mountain bikers. In winter a cross-country ski run, which can take you as far as the Nassfeld ski area, starts right outside the hotel.
