Dating back to 1838, Villa Solitude is situated next to the casino in the centre of Bad Gastein. It offers elegantly furnished accommodation with wooden floors and antique furniture. The villa offers breathtaking views of the waterfall and the skyline of Bad Gastein.Situated at 1,000 metres above sea level in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Bad Gastein has fresh mountain air. The spa resort of Bad Gastein is home to the world-famous springs and Healing Galleries of the Felsentherme. Guests can also go skiing in the Ski Amadé skiing area. Villa Solitude's restaurant Lutter & Wegner houses the famous Berlin Weinhaus, which was established in 1811. It has been awarded a toque by the Gault MiIllau restaurant guide and features a beautiful waterfall terrace in summer. The Weinhaus offers an excellent selection of wines. The restaurant is located in the cellars of Villa Solitude and offers a beautiful view over Bad Gastein's waterfall.

Autobahn via Wörgl, highway B 312 via St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, B 311 via Zell am See to Lend, B 167 to Gastein or on the autobahn via Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, B 167 to the Gastein Valley.
