The Wombats City Hostel Vienna - The Base is the parent house of the award-winning Wombats hostels, located only a 10-minute walk from Vienna's western train station (Westbahnhof). From Westbahnhof train station:
- Take exit GerstnerstraÃŸe
- Turn left and walk down GerstnerstraÃŸe until you reach the main street (Ã„uÃŸere Mariahilfer StraÃŸe)
- Follow this road until you reach house number 152 (corner Rosinagasse)
- Turn right into Rosinagasse
- Grangasse is the second street on your left.

From SÃd-/Ostbahnhof train station:
- Take tram 18 to Westbahnhof and proceed on Ã„uÃŸere MariahilferstraÃŸe as indicated above.

From Vienna airport:
- Vienna Airport Lines shuttle bus to Westbahnhof is the most convenient way and is not expensive.
- The cheapest option is the S7 commuter train to LandstraÃŸe-Wien Mitte and then you proceed by the U3 subway to Westbahnhof (same ticket valid for both lines.
